Mississippi's Final Proposal was submitted to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) on September 4, 2025. NTIA reviewed Mississippi's Final Proposal, along with the Final Proposal of every other state and U.S. Territory, and approved them on a rolling basis. Mississippi's Final Proposal was approved on February 9, 2026, and BEAM can move the list of preliminary determinations to final determination status.
As required by the Restructuring Policy Notice from NTIA, BEAM accepted public comments for seven days (August 27 - September 3, 2025) on the Draft Final Proposal before submission. To view the Draft Final Proposal, please visit the BEAD Document Archive.
To comply with State statutory requirements, BEAM will accepted comments and/or objections until September 26, 2025.
